Donation Details
This year, as we celebrate the Matthew P. Pellegrino II Memorial Golf Outing's 25th Anniversary, we are pleased to announce that we are able to begin a special project, building an All-Inclusive Playground in South Jersey thanks to your continued generosity this year and support in previous years.
This project may take up to a year to accomplish, but the benefits for children and adults of all ages and capabilities will be enjoyed for a lifetime. It is our hope that once the playground is built, we will continue to maintain and expand the playground through your continued generosity and support in the coming years. We plan to keep all of our supporters informed of the planning and building, from start to finish, with regular updates on our website, and upon completion, a special celebration of dedication to Matty.
In addition to the annual major charitable gift, the foundation also provides 5 year pledges to local charitable organizations in need. The current organizations benefitting from the pledges are:

Good Counsel Homes for Babies and Mothers

Over 100 Computers Donated to Henry Houston Elementary School

This year the donation from the Matthew P. Pellegrino II Memorial Foundation given to the Philadelphia Children's Foundation was able to provide over 100 computers to the Henry Houston Elementary School in Mt. Airy. 6ABC shared footage of volunteers bringing in the computers on Wednesday, August 22nd, just in time for the start of the school year. Thank you for helping us keep Matty's generous and loving spirit alive through your endless support, love and contributions!

Matty’s Home of Hope Project at the Bucks County Emergency Homeless Shelter
In October 2017, with the help of over 100 volunteers and additional support from local vendors in the area, we were able to help fund and complete a $150,000 addition to the Bucks County Emergency Homeless Shelter in just one day. This addition of “Matty’s Home of Hope” provided the shelter with two family units so that a variety of families have a place to remain together in the shelter and get back on their feet. Thank you for all of your generous time, contributions, and hard work in making this project a success!
